Choosing a plan

Search for where you’re going and open the destination. Every plan shows how much data it includes, how many days it lasts and its full price in the currency you’ve chosen.

If your trip takes in more than one country, look at the regional plans as well. A destination’s page lists the regional and global plans that also cover it, with the number of countries each one covers, and you can open the list to see exactly which.

Some plans show more, such as 4G or 5G, whether hotspot is included, or the local network they run on. If our supplier hasn’t stated a detail for a plan, we leave it out rather than guess.

Check the plan’s start rule. Validity may begin at purchase, installation, or first connection to a covered network. A plan that starts at purchase or installation should be bought or installed close to when you intend to use it.

Every plan is data only. It has no phone number, so it can’t make calls or send texts. Your own SIM stays in the phone for those.
