If the eSIM is installed but there’s no data
Once you’ve arrived, the phone needs two settings for the eSIM’s line. Both are in its mobile or SIM settings:
- Turn on data roaming for the eSIM line.
- Choose the eSIM as the line for mobile data.
Then turn Airplane mode on and off, so the phone looks for a network again. If there’s still no data, restart the phone.
Check the plan
Open the eSIM in “My eSIMs”. If its status says “No data left”, “Ended” or “Paused”, the eSIM can’t use data until that changes, and its page says what you can do.
The eSIM connects only in the places its plan covers, which its destination page shows.
The access point name (APN)
Our supplier records an access point name, or APN, for each eSIM. If the phone shows a network but data still doesn’t work, write to us with your order number. We’ll tell you your eSIM’s APN, and you can enter it in the mobile data settings of the eSIM’s line.
